Rebuild & Recovery

Cyber-attacks are devastating to any organisation.  The impact cannot be overstated.  The ability for most organisations to rebuild is limited as their IT provision is scaled for business-as-usual activities and not a complete rebuild of their IT infrastructure from the ground up.

We deliver Rebuild & Recovery services through the deployment of our ‘Crisis Response’ team. Our Crisis Response team is a dedicated group of expert engineers focused exclusively on rebuilding IT environments impacted by cyberattacks.

Not only do we have the resource and skills to do this at pace (which is why the leading insurance companies partner with us) we have bespoke tooling and we know how to operate, navigate and rebuild within a comprised environment.

Private Cloud

Cyberprae operate a UK based Private Cloud environment that allows us to start a rebuild process immediately in order to provide a working environment to our clients quickly. 

We are then able to restore (sanitised/clean) client data into this environment.  All the client requires to access this secure environment is a PC/laptop with an internet connection.  No data (or viruses etc.) can be copied in or out of the platform. 

Recovery from the Cyberprae Private Cloud to the clients ‘normal’ working environment is easily achieved as all servers and information will be stored within virtual servers on the platform. This makes a migration away from the Private Cloud an easy task that also means the work done to mitigate the business interruption is not wasted, it is effort that will support Business Recovery.

Azure

Cyberprae can also build a fully operating environment in Azure Public Cloud.  This will be exactly as described above, the only difference being that we are utilising the Azure platform.  The advantage of Azure is that it is infinitely scalable.  Azure is however more expensive and we are seeing resistance to the use of Azure from insurers in general (there is also the subject of betterment to consider). Charges are based on usage and therefore are difficult to predict.​

Loan Hardware

We have ‘mobile platforms’ that allows us to deploy a fully operating environment to the client site. 

 

The hardware (that is already hardened and secure) will provide a platform on which we can look to restore the client's IT services.  It is also worth noting that we have options to provide 4/5G or satellite connectivity, allowing us to build a completely segregated and separate network for complex environments,

Office365 Provision

We can create an Office 365 environment in minutes.  The purpose of which would be to restore email services to those clients who rely on a local Exchange / Email solution.  More often than not, the ability to send and receive emails and communicate internally with ease will be the most urgent requirement.  Office 365 will deliver this and it can also be used to integrate with any of the three solutions described above.  ​
